How We’ll Place Your Crown

1. First, Dr. Fields will numb the area around the affected tooth and remove any decayed or damaged tissue. We’ll then prepare your tooth by shaping it to receive the crown.
2. We’ll then place a temporary crown over your prepared tooth to protect it while your permanent crown is being made.
3. Once your permanent crown is back from the laboratory, Dr. Fields will remove your temporary crown and cement the permanent one in its place.
